- DOTSTAR focuses on typhoons that may affect Taiwan within 72~24 hours.
- Primary mission time:
0500~1100 Local Time (coordinated with the synoptic observation at 0000 UTC)
1700~2300 Local Time (coordinated with the synoptic observation at 1200 UTC) - If necessary, a surveillance mission may be performed once every day.
